The banknotes of the Croatian dinar are placed in specially designed plastic folders consisting of covers and plastic sheet inserts with interleaves. The banknotes making up the sets have not been in circulation and are in perfect condition. All banknotes in a set have the same serial letters and numbers.
The Croatian National Bank issued numismatic sets of circulation coins every year. All coins minted in even years are coins with Latin names of animals and plants inscribed on coin reverse, while all coins minted in odd years are coins with Croatian names of animals and plants inscribed on the coin reverse. The coins in the set have the same appearance as the coins released into circulation in the relevant year.
