The Croatian National Bank issues a gold and silver numismatic coin to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the birth of Ivana Brlić-Mažuranić (18742024), a celebrated writer for children who has greatly enriched Croatian literature with her works. The works of Ivana Brlić-Mažuranić have been translated into many world languages, and the writer herself has been nominated twice for the Nobel Prize.
The gold coin is issued in the 100 euro denomination and the silver coin is issued in the 4 euro denomination.
The gold and silver numismatic coins are minted in proof quality and released for sale on 22 April 2024.

The Decision on the issue and sale of gold and silver numismatic coins “150th Anniversary of the Birth of Ivana Brlić-Mažuranić” was published in the Official Gazette 46/2024.
The coin design is by the sculptor Kuzma Kovačić.
The numismatic coins were minted and are sold by the Croatian Mint.
