Tomislav Ćorić was born on 17 November 1979 in Metković. He graduated in 2003 from the Zagreb Faculty of Economics, where he obtained his Master's Degree in 2007 and his PhD in economics in 2011. He continued his education at the University of Greenwich, United Kingdom, in the area of monetary policy. From 2016 to 2017 he held the post of Minister of Labour and Pension System in the Government of the Republic of Croatia, from 2017 to 2020 he served as Minister of Environmental Protection and Energy, while from 2020 to 2022 he was Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development. Prior to his ministerial positions, he worked as assistant professor at the Zagreb Faculty of Economics. He is the author and co-author of numerous scholarly papers and various book chapters in the area of economics. He received the "Mijo Mirković" Award for his research paper "The Research of Credit Channel in the Republic of Croatia".
Pursuant to the decision of the Croatian Parliament of 27 May 2022, Tomislav Ćorić was appointed Vicegovernor of the Croatian National Bank.
Vicegovernor Ćorić coordinates and manages the Prudential Regulation and Methodology Area, the Prudential Supervision Area, the Expert Supervision and Oversight Area, the Office for Coordination of Prudential Supervision, Oversight and Risk Management Activities and the Office for the Supervision of Entities in Non-Performing Loan Sales.
As of June 2022, Vicegovernor Tomislav Ćorić is a member of the ECB's Supervisory Board and a member of the Board of Supervisors of the European Banking Authority.
Michael Faulend, PhD, was born on 25 May 1974 in Zagreb, where he graduated in 1997 from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Analysis Study Program, and in 2002 he received his Master's Degree at the postgraduate studies ''International Economy''. He got employed in the Croatian National Bank in October 1997 in the Research Department. In the period from 2001 to 2003 he was Assistant to the Executive Director of the IMF Dutch Constituency. After returning to the CNB he continued his work in the Research Department as advisor, and on 1 April 2004 he was appointed Executive Director of the International Affairs Area. He is the author of several scholarly papers on economic issues.
Pursuant to the decision of the Croatian Parliament, Michael Faulend was appointed Vicegovernor of the Croatian National Bank on 5 July 2013. He was reappointed for his second six-year term of office as vicegovernor on 12 July 2019.
Vicegovernor Faulend coordinates and manages the International and European Relations Area and the Credit Institutions Resolution Office.
Bojan Fras was born in Zagreb on 4 January 1963. He graduated in 1988 from the Faculty of Law in Zagreb. In 1988 he started working as a legal trainee and in 1992 he became a licensed attorney. In 1995 he was a co-founder of "Žurić i partneri" law firm in Zagreb, where he remained a partner until appointment to the current position. During his career as a practicing lawyer he was engaged in legal counselling and representation in the areas of commercial law, investments, financing and banking as well as in commercial disputes, including international arbitrage. He was the principal Croatian legal advisor on some of the most significant transactions and investment projects in Croatia, including those in telecom, energy and finance. He represented and advised a large number of leading international corporations and institutions and domestic companies and institutions.
He also acted as international legal advisor for bank privatization to a government of a country in the region and advised foreign and domestic banks, financial institutions and companies on their operations In Croatia, derivative transactions, repo operations and other forms of financing. He was also active in legislative work.
He has spoken at conferences, seminars and panels in Croatia and abroad on the legal aspects of investments in Croatia, financial system, privatisation and mergers and acquisitions of Croatian companies, company law, project financing, local government financing and other legal issues.
Pursuant to the decision of the Croatian Parliament, Bojan Fras was appointed Vicegovernor of the Croatian National Bank on 5 July 2013. He was reappointed for his second six-year term of office as vicegovernor on 12 July 2019.

Ivana Jakir-Bajo was born on 15 March 1974 in Nürnberg. She graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Business in Zagreb in 1997 and obtained her Master’s Degree from the Department of Organisation and Management of the same Faculty in 2012. From December 1998 to July 2020, Ms Jakir-Bajo worked in the Ministry of Finance, first in the Directorate for State Accounting and from 2016 in the State Treasury where she acted as Chief State Treasurer and National Authorising Officer. Until 2014 she was also the Chair of the OECD Regional Network of Central, Eastern and South-Eastern European Countries Senior Budget Officials (CESEE-SBO). In her work so far she participated in many professional trainings in renowned international institutions in the United States of America (Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government), the Netherlands and Slovenia. She took part in the implementation of international projects in the area of public finance. She is the author and a co-author of a large number of professional and scientific papers published in the country and abroad on budget system, fiscal responsibility, performance measuring and budget accounting and also co-authored a number of books and manuals.
Pursuant to the decision of the Croatian Parliament, Ms Ivana Jakir-Bajo was appointed Vicegovernor of the Croatian National Bank on 1 July 2020.

Maroje Lang was born on 27 November 1972 in Zagreb. He graduated in 1997 from the Zagreb Faculty of Economics, where he obtained his Master's Degree in 2001 and his PhD in economics in 2011. He continued his education at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and took part in numerous seminars organised by the International Monetary Fund and central banks.
In 1997, he got employed in the Croatian National Bank in the Research Department, while in 2005 he was appointed Director of the Econometric Modelling Department. From 2012 to 2015 he held the post of Assistant Minister of Finance and was in charge of the Directorate for Macroeconomic Analyses, Economy, Financial System, EU and International Financial Relations. After returning to the CNB in 2016, he continued his work as chief advisor in the Research Area.
He has authored and co-authored numerous professional and scientific papers. He has also lectured as visiting professor and lecturer at the Zagreb Faculty of Economics, the Faculty of Law in Zagreb and the Zagreb School of Economics and Management. From 2018 to 2024 he was a member of the Commission on Fiscal Policy, and from 2019 he served as Deputy Chairperson of the Commission.
Pursuant to the decision of the Croatian Parliament, Maroje Lang was appointed Vicegovernor of the Croatian National Bank on 19 July 2024.
Vicegovernor Lang coordinates and manages the Statistics Area and the Foreign Exchange Regulation Office.
