The Croatian National Bank issues the new gold collector coins and silver collector coin “Ivan Vučetić’s Innovations”, as part of the collector coin series “Croatian Innovators”, with the commemorative motifs on the coins depicting an effigy and the innovations of Ivan Vučetić, a criminologist and the inventor of dactyloscopy. Vučetić devised and patented a dactyloscopic fingerprint classification system, thereby enabling the identification of persons by means of papillary lines on their fingers, which is an important part of the scientific heritage of the Republic of Croatia and the world. The gold collector coins are issued in the 100 and 20 euro denominations and the silver collector coin is issued in the 4 euro denomination.

The gold collector coins “Ivan Vučetić’s Innovations” denominated at 100 and 20 euro and the silver collector coin denominated at 4 euro are minted in brilliant uncirculated condition. The gold collector coins “Ivan Vučetić’s Innovations” denominated at 100 and 20 euro and the silver collector coin denominated at 4 euro are released for sale on 24 September 2026.
