At its session today, the Croatian National Bank Council adopted the annual report on the performance of the central bank over the last year, reviewed the latest monetary and economic developments and a report on the situation in the banking system in the last quarter of 2008, as well as adopted several decisions.
The CNB Council endorsed the proposal of the Supervisory Board of Podravska banka d.d., Koprivnica, to again appoint Julio Kuruc as Chairman and Marijan Marušić as Member of the Management Board in the next term.
The Council also endorsed the appointment of Dubravka Lukić as Member of the Management Board of Volksbank d.d., Zagreb, as well as the appointment of Snježana Herceg as Chairperson and Srečko Maceković as Member of the Management Board of Prva stambena štedionica d.d., Zagreb, for another term.
The company Serfin d.o.o., poslovne usluge i konzalting, Buje, was permitted to acquire a qualifying holding, exceeding 10 percent of shareholders equity, in Istarska kreditna banka Umag, d.d., Umag.
