At its today's session, the Croatian National Bank Council examined recent economic and monetary indicators, a report on international reserve management and financial operation of the central bank in the first half of 2011 and a report on the banking system condition in the second quarter of the year.
The CNB Council endorsed the decision of the Supervisory Board of Banco Popolare Croatia d.d., Zagreb to extend for another year the terms of office of Goran Gazivoda as president, and Ivan Dujmović as member of the of the Management Board of that bank. It also agreed with the decision of the Supervisory Board of OTP banka d.d., Zadar to appoint Balazs Bekeffy as new president of the banks' Management Board for a period of three years.
Today, the Council also approved the acquisition of qualifying holdings in the equity capital of Tesla štedna banka d.d., Zagreb of over 10% by the companies Končar-Elektroindustrija d.d., Zagreb and Zvijezda d.d., Zagreb, and of a holding over 30% by the Development Fund of the Republic of Serbia, Niš.
