CNB issues "Halubje Bell Ringers" gold coin and silver coins

The Croatian National Bank has issued "Halubje Bell Ringers" gold collector coin and silver collector coins with commemorative motifs representing a carnival tradition in the Republic of Croatia as part of the Croatian culture and heritage. The gold coin is issued in colour in the denomination of EUR 100. A silver coin in the denomination of EUR 8, also in colour, and a EUR 4 silver coin are also issued.

The gold coin and silver coin designs are by Chiara Principe. The collector coins "Halubje Bell Ringers" are released for sale on 18 February 2025. The issued quantity of gold collector coins of EUR 100 is limited at 200 pieces, the issued quantity of silver collector coins of EUR 8 is limited at 500 pieces, while the issued quantity of silver coins of EUR 4 is limited at 2,000 pieces.

The collector coins will be sold by the Croatian Mint. The initial selling price for the EUR 100 gold collector coin is expected to range around EUR 3,400.00 and that for the EUR 8 and EUR 4 silver coins around EUR 419,99 and EUR 79,99 with VAT, respectively. The selling price at the time of purchase will depend on the movement in the price of gold and silver in the open market.
