A delegation of the Croatian National Bank, headed by the Deputy Governor Dr Boris Vujčić, left for Washington today, together with a delegation of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, headed by the Deputy Prime Minister Slavko Linić, to attend the forthcoming Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.
The Annual Meetings will start on Saturday, September 28 and are expected to close on Sunday, September 29, 2002. However, the working program of the Croatian delegation will begin as early as Friday, September 27, 2002 with a session of the Constituency to which Croatia belongs and which is presided by the Netherlands. The CNB delegation will have a series of meetings with the IMF and the World Bank officials as well as the representatives of the leading international banks and other institutions.
