Tomorrow (Thursday), a two-day international meeting of balance of payments compilers from Southeast European countries will begin in the Croatian National Bank. Besides the host, the CNB's Statistics Department, the participants in the meeting will include experts on the balance of payments statistics of the central banks of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Monte Negro, Macedonia, Slovenia, Serbia and Romania, as well as the representatives of the European Central Bank and EUROSTAT. This meeting will provide an opportunity to present various experiences in the field of balance of payments compilation and international investment positions pursuant to current international standards and the requirements to be met by EU accession countries.
