The Croatian National Bank has issued "Lace-making in Croatia" gold collector coins with commemorative motifs that represent an important part of the cultural heritage of both the Republic of Croatia and the world. The gold collector coins are issued in the 100, 25 and 10 euro denominations.
The design of the "Lace-making in Croatia" gold collector coins is by the sculptor Stjepan Divković. The gold collector coins with the basic motif of "Lace-making in Croatia" were minted by the Croatian Mint and are released for sale on 17 October 2023. The issued quantity of the 100 and 25 euro gold collector coins is limited at 1,000 pieces each and the issued quantity of the 10 euro gold collector coin is limited at 3,000 pieces.
The gold collector coins will be sold by the Croatian Mint. The initial selling price of the 100, 25 and 10 euro gold collector coins is expected to range around EUR 1,970.00, EUR 530.00 and EUR 140.00, respectively. The selling price at the time of purchase will depend on the movement in the price of gold in the open market.
