A group of students and teachers of the Pula School of Economics rounded off with their visit to the Croatian National Bank on 12 December this year the number of users of educational programmes of the Croatian National Bank in 2023 to 10 000. On this occasion, the students and teachers of this school, which has been using the CNB's programmes for many years, were handed out commemorative gifts, including books for the school library.
The CNB's education programmes in the previous part of this year were mostly attended by elementary school pupils, followed by high school pupils, students and teachers. The topics they were most interested in were "Euro – Our Money" and "Croatia in the Euro Area", followed by economic developments and inflation, crypto-assets, digital money, prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing, supervision of credit institutions and the role of the CNB in preserving financial stability. They were also very interested in lectures and workshops on personal finance management, money development and the basics of banking, banking products and services as well as the risks of internet and mobile payments.
CNB lecturers very successfully educated users in CNB halls and schools, which is evidenced by the return of satisfied students and teachers to the CNB for additional workshops, as well as the requests of schools to include a larger number of students in education.
Information on the topics and the manner in which training courses are organised at the CNB can be found on the website of the Croatian National Bank.
