The 26th Dubrovnik International Economic Conference opens on Sunday, 19 July 2020. The CNB's conference will once again gather renowned domestic and international scientists as well as the representatives of international financial institutions. Also participating will be economists from other institutions and financial experts.
This year the conference will focus on the modalities of recovery of economic life amid the coronavirus crisis and the role of banks in the 2020 crisis, while also featuring other current topics, such as climate change challenges and the accumulation and distribution of wealth since 1980 to date.
The conference will be held under the Chatham House Rule, allowing the participants to use the information received outside the conference, but without revealing the identity of the speaker. The working language of the conference is English.
The CNB Governor will give a media statement on Sunday, 19 July, at 11:30 a.m., at the Dubrovnik Palace Hotel (Masarykov put 20), where the conference will take place.
The 26th Dubrovnik Economic Conference will be attended by about fifty participants and organised in full compliance with epidemiological recommendations and prescribed measures. The participants will be able to take a serological test before the start and after the end of the conference programme.
